The showstopper of Summer Game Fest 2025 was the reveal of Resident Evil Requiem, launching February 27, 2026.
Capcom promises a bold new direction for the franchise, with a cinematic, high-stakes tone and a return to
Raccoon City.
Fans are buzzing about the shift, with one commentator saying, “It looks different from previous RE games, and
it’s changing things up.” Wu-Tang Clan is back in gaming with Rise of the Deceiver, an action co-op
RPG that’s all about hip-hop culture, self-expression, and dynamic music.
Players will fight to save Shaolin, with a soundtrack featuring classic Wu-Tang tracks and new music by Just
Blaze.
As the developers put it, “It was by the culture, for the culture, and actually representing what Wu-Tang
put out there through the years.” A new real-time strategy game, Game of Thrones: War for Westeros, lets
you command the great houses or even the Night King in epic battles across the Seven Kingdoms.
The game promises deep strategy, iconic heroes, and the chance to rewrite the fate of Westeros.
As the director says, “This time, you’re not watching the Game of Thrones – you’re playing it.” Imagine
Dragons are making waves with Last Flag, a hero shooter built entirely around the classic game of Capture
the Flag.
With unique heroes and unpredictable gameplay, the band’s founders say, “We started with this theory of: what would
a pure Capture the Flag game feel like?” Expect wild strategies and plenty of shareable moments.
Summer Game Fest 2025 was packed with reveals: Mortal Shell 2, Dying Light: The Beast, Scott Pilgrim EX,
and a new LEGO co-op adventure.
Plus, Deadpool VR is coming, and Sonic Racing CrossWorlds is bringing wild crossovers.
Whether you’re into horror, strategy, or nostalgia, there’s something for everyone this year!
