Winter, 1941.
The Eastern Front.
Soviet soldiers march through the frozen forests, their breath turning to mist.
The Red Army fights tooth and nail against the advancing Germans.
One battalion—nearly 500 men—receives orders to hold a key village at all costs.
Days pass.
No radio contact.
Reinforcements arrive, expecting battle… but the village is empty.
No bodies.
No weapons.
Just abandoned trenches, half-eaten meals, and rifles stacked neatly, as if the men simply walked away.
The only clue?
A single journal, frozen in the snow.
The last entry reads: 'The snow whispers.
Shadows move when we blink.
If you find this, don’t follow us.' To this day, no records exist of what happened.
Some say they deserted, others believe something… else… took them.
'Would you investigate?
Or leave it alone?' "If you think they were taken, comment ‘🛑’… if they vanished naturally, comment ‘❄️’!"
